Terms of use and health disclaimer
Last updated: November 2026
By using sonovana.net and listening to Sonovana videos, you accept these terms. Please read the health disclaimer carefully.
Health disclaimer
Sonovana creates sound for relaxation, meditation and general wellbeing. The videos, sound samples, guides and other content on this site and on the Sonovana channels are for general information only. They are not medical advice, they do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and they do not replace care from a doctor, audiologist, ENT specialist, psychologist or other health professional.
Do not stop, delay or change any treatment because of something you heard or read here. If you have tinnitus, hearing loss, sleep problems, anxiety or any other health concern, talk to a qualified professional.
Seek medical care promptly if your tinnitus is in one ear only, pulses in time with your heartbeat, started suddenly, or comes with hearing loss, dizziness or ear pain. Sudden hearing loss needs urgent care. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Frequencies and traditions
Some videos are named after frequencies (for example 144 Hz, 432 Hz or Solfeggio frequencies such as 528 Hz) or after chakras and organs. These associations come from musical, spiritual and wellness traditions, not from medicine. We describe them as traditions and do not claim that any frequency heals, repairs or regenerates the body.
Listening safely
- Keep the volume low. Listening at high volume, especially with headphones and for long periods, can damage your hearing.
- Do not listen while driving, operating machinery or doing anything that needs your full attention, since some content is designed to make you relaxed or sleepy.
- Binaural beats need headphones. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, a heart condition or a pacemaker, or if you are pregnant, ask your doctor before listening to binaural beats.
- Some videos include moving images and light effects. If you are sensitive to flashing or moving light, use the audio only or look away from the screen.
- Stop listening if you feel discomfort, dizziness, headache, or if your tinnitus feels louder afterwards.
- For children, an adult should choose the content and keep the volume low and the speaker away from the child.
